Hurricane Ian Relief Updates

Our church is part of a larger family called the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA). They have sent a team called the ReachGlobal Crisis Response Team to help us as we minister to our broken community.  This team is setting up a base camp for relief efforts at the Evangelical Free Church in Ft. Myers, but they are serving all of us in SW Florida from there.  In the coming weeks volunteer teams from churches around the country will be coming to serve in our community as we identify places of need.

  • Helping your neighbors is your first priority, but if you would like to spend a few hours or a day assisting these teams in the clean-up efforts or care of those who need help please let me know.
  • Providing a dinner meal for a team of 12 people is an immediate way to help.  They are staying at the EFC of Ft. Myers and are blessed if we can provide a meal at 6:30pm for them Mon-Thur.  Please let me know if you’d like to do this one day (or more) in the coming days and weeks.
  • Make a donation to help with hurricane relief effort costs and to be used in assisting those who are in need.  Give online here, and choose the Hurricane Relief Fund.
  • Identify people who need assistance.  An online form has been created to collect the information about a relief need.  There are no guarantees we can help but they will be called and we will do our best. Click here for the Relief Need Form.

This team is now focussed on a small community in Bonita Springs that desperately needs help (Spring Creek Village).  Helping your neighbors is first priority, but if you would like to spend a few hours or a day assisting them in the clean-up, please let me know.
